Project coordinator Dr. Eleni G. Papazoglou (AUA, Greece) presented the FORTE project at the workshop “Biomass and Agriculture” in Thessaloniki, on January 31, 2020. The workshop was held under the frame of the 28th International Fair for Agricultural Machinery, Equipment and Supplies (AGROTICA 2020: https://agrotica.helexpo.gr/). The event was addressed to farmers and farmers associations, agronomists, agricultural professionals, producers, users of biomass and other relevant stakeholders. More than 80 participants attended the workshop and many of them showed an increased interest on the use of fiber crops for the phytoremediation of polluted sites.
