Shanghai Zhongwei Biochemistry Co., Ltd. was founded in 1995 and is located in the Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park. Zhongwei has strong technical research and development capabilities and more than 70% of all employees are R&D personnel. The company has repeatedly undertaken national-level ecological protection-related projects since its establishment. In the environmental governance project of capital-circle region in 2001, thousands of hectares of land  were successfully managed and improved. After that, Zhongwei was devoted to the study of the high value utilization of biomass products in the process of ecological management, and successfully industrialized many projects such as kenaf cellulose fuel ethanol, kenaf and hemp substrate for soilless cultivation, none formaldehyde release fiber-based panels. These works were of great economic and ecological value for enterprises and the society at large. Zhongwei has a large experimental base (more than 500 hectares) in Jiangsu, and we are building ecology and biomass industry in many provinces in China suitable for local ecological environments.
